Red is back with a vengeance! Two words. Lupita Nyong'o. Luckily the fashion gods gave me the inclination to throw on a hot red jacket...
Adding a lace skirt completed this look for me. This gorgeous lace skirt is a hand me down/gift from my mother who's had it in her closet for about 4 years. She was actually upset that I didn't wear it sooner. (sorry mom!). It is my new love but don't tell her I said so because she soon will give me the side eye for it!
Also a new love to me is my mini collection of hats! (4 and counting..) Coming from a place where hats tend to mess up my hair do, this is a big step for me. I've learned to slowly let go and just learn to tame the messy hair after the take off. Besides, with NYC's weather this year, it was a total divine order fruition!
