Experiencing Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic

This was me (and my mindset in the beginning stages of this great day) at this year's Vueve Clicquot Polo Classic. Enjoying life for the wonderful moments of laying in greenery and taking in the sun and perfect breeze...

Myself and members of Bloggers Who Brunch on Fashion were extended an invite by fellow blogger Kristen of Pure Ferocity to attend the grandiose Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. This was the first polo match I attended and suffice to say it will not be my last. The ambiance, the atmosphere, the champagne, the players, the fashion. One word STUPENDOUS

The day started with a picnic basket in tow and a train ride to Battery Park. The ferry below guided me and several thousand attendees to New Jersey's Liberty State Park all while enjoying 360 degree views of Battery Park City.

After arriving on dry land and walking to the park with Lady Liberty next to us, attendees and myself began setting up for the grand day ahead of us
What seemed like only and hour or so of taking in all the fashion that paraded the concrete of the park, the match between team Black Watch and Team Nespresso began.

Unfortunately I was so mesmerized with the crowds of stylist patrons that I honestly didn't pay attention to the match. Women sashayed in their feminine maxi dresses, fitted floral knee length dresses, wedges that held limitless height and gorgeous hats with different arrays of style, color, and fit. The men excelled in style category from wonderful pastel neck ties to rainbow colored pants that included bright hues of pink, yellow, red, green, and purple. It was truly amazing to see all this style in one setting.

Team Black Watch won the match and I ended up #WINNING as well because I enjoyed every single moment of this event!

Be sure to check out more photos of the event from the members of BWBOF that were in attendance, Liz from Liz Avenue, Ely from Ripped Nylon, and Kristen from Pure Ferocity.

I love the pictures of all of these dressed up people. My favorites are the brother with the hat and the one with the red pants! So stylish!
