Like The Way You Work It

Keeping the spirit of easy wear through the wonderful temperatures of the summer, I decided to put a great twist on great printed scarf. This beauty caught my eye while I was thrifting a few weeks back with fellow blogger Helene of Bon Vivant and a Budget (sidebar...we're both thrift obsessed! Like it should be our profession lol!). The print drove me crazy! It reminded me a bit of a tribal influenced print. It was long and wide enough in length that I said to myself right away "This would make a cool skirt!". So by simply tying the scarf to the front and adding a few safety pins I was set and let me tell you it is so easy and breezy cool! Felt like I was wearing nothing almost (and isn't that the way you want to feel in the summer??)

Can you see the intensity of the print action that drove me crazy??? AMAZING!
Tee: Old Navy  Scarf(worn as a skirt): Thrift Find  Pumps: Calvin Klein
Watch: NY&Co.  Necklace: Gift  Bracelets: F21

You should try it too! I know you'll love it (-:

I hope you don't mind me posting this on my FB page! I love that this is the second blog that's worn a scarf as a skirt!

Nicely done! The print is amazing so I can see why you want to show it a different way then the way it's usually worn (around the head). I liked how you styled the scarf/skirt, too.

Loving this scarf skirt. I'll try it but not with a scarf but an actual light material and see how it comes out!! lovely outfit and the juxtaposition of the greys, blacks and white!
