The ladies of Bloggers Who Brunch On Fashion and myself were graciously extended an invite by fellow BWBOF member Liza Sheehy to attend the Karen Walker and Anthropologie's Spring Collection Fashion Event. The spectacular event was held at Anthropologie's Chelsea Market location. The store was filled sweet treats for Valentines, an array of Karen Walker's fashion designs, gorgeous decor of accessories and housing, as well as happy and quite stylish attendees.
In attendance with me were Emijaa of Emijaa Jaaemil, Ms. K of African Prints In Fashion, Ely of Ripped Nylon and Krystal of The Feisty House.
Spring ruled the atmosphere that night with bright pops of color like this color block dress as well as this lace and polka dot blouse.
My eyes froze frame in awe and excitement for this beaded clutch. It came in such great colors I couldn't decide which was more beautiful.
Attendees of the event really showed how great their fashion sense were. I especially loved the denim pant with hearts printed on it! You can also see knee high socks are making the come back for sure.
The jewelry accessories were so beautiful and definitely statement pieces to own. This multicolored dress below grabbed my attention for all the colors it displayed. There's so many ways in which to pair it with a variety of colored blazers and accessories. Just a beauty!
Attendees above showed their fashion sense for this season's must haves in black and white pairings as well as lace applique and bright reds.
Ely stunned me with her floor length stunning mint dress! I couldn't take my eyes off how gorgeous she looked. Her friend Iliana confirmed with her backless jumpsuit that a sexy back is definitely in!
Are you a lover of fedoras because you will need to get your hand on these gorgeous colored hats! Absolute stunners. Be sure to tip your hat my way ok? ;-)
Ms. K and Emijaa showed off their personal styles with Ms. K wearing a fabulously fitted vest (hello I need one asap!) and Emijaa proving a summer dress plays quite well into winter fashion.
Newcomer to the group and new resident of New York (!!!) Krystal walked in the room looking so beautiful and effortlessly chic in her navy printed blouse and lavender trousers (I'll take that in my size thx!). She was a breath of fresh air, much like her spirit!
Posing with the ladies I now remember how my outfit was the epitome of comfort! Aren't those the best?? Who knew plaid would be my best friend this season? I went bold and wore a plaid on plaid look which consisted of a thrifted Land's End button down (similar) and Talbot's pant (similar). I finished the look with a vintage necklace and Jcrew pumps (similar).
Liza of Liza Takes Fashion wore an easy pop color Anthropologie dress. I loved the look and the extra touch of leopard was unexpected and pulled the look together so well!. Go Liza! :-)
Karen Walker's bright polka dot skirt below was on display and definitely planted ideas in my head for a look like it!
Ely loved this sofa and it loved her back! This sofa would be a stand alone accessory to any room of her choice! Look how stunning she looked on it. :-)
If you are falling for green then you wouldn't mind this intoxicating green tote on your shoulders!
One after the other these jewels amazed me! From the beaded rice, to the blue topaz replica, to the emerald-like crystal, these necklaces are definitely statement pieces. Now if could only decide which one to get!
While I was busy snapping pictures, the ladies were grabbing all the deals and steals of the night. Before I knew it, the event came to a end leaving me to rush and put on my coat. It was such an enjoyable time. Fashion and Friends all in one place. Who could ask for anything more? :-)
