NYFW: The Style Of Fashion (continued...)

As I made my way through the exit doors of Lincoln Center all while thinking to myself what a wonderful unbelievable day I had, a photographer stopped and asked for a photo. I happily obliged as it gave me some time to get ready for what was coming after the complete exit through the tents. The weather forecast of snow!!!! But as you will see below the snow did not deter the invited from attending their anxiously awaited ticketed seats to the shows, which was good for me as I took that opportunity to ask for their pictures! :-)

fluorescent pink satchel and plaid cape

Meredith was one to definitely stand out and turn heads thanks to her gorgeous fluorescent pink Cambridge satchel. What a stunner! She then added my unashamed favorite print of the season, a green plaid cape. GENIUS!

eyelet hole and applique top

Seeing Beagy's outfit made my eyes turn into stars and twinkles. I loved everything about it! From the fur (my weakness!!!) to my new love of the eyelet pattern on her top. All I can say is amazing style!

menswear coat and floral pant
I just fell madly in love with the way Carina paired her men's inspired coat with the girly texture of floral pants and tough no nonsense pointed heel. It was just the right amount of masculine/feminine balance. I will be trying these pairings as she is a great inspiration for it! Oh and don't forget the Cambridge satchel, as you can see they come in staple colors as well ;-)

turban and fur vest and leather pants
Talk about the right amount of feisty displayed here with Miyoshi's style. LOVE IT! She had so many wonderful eye catching items working for her from the perfection of her leather pants to sheer sensation of her blouse then adding the twist with her head tie (?!!). It all come together looking quite well!

 red glasses and belted scarf

Zebrina's style was unlike no other. Unassuming in confidence and special details to make the eye gaze. The right amount of earth toned colors came off so lovely. I especially loved her statement red glasses and how she turned a regular scarf into a belt.

 cupcake sweater and ruffled skirt

Winnie was such a doll in her outfit. With more than enough to catch the eye, she pulled it all together to make her style a work of art.

LaMont Jones
Lastly, LaMont was the only gentleman I saw walking in oxblood colored jeans. I was hooked! He mixed his colors well by adding a a poppy-seed cardigan and color popping orange briefcase.

With the wonderful styles captured I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I am inspired to keep improving on my style and I hope you are too! It will be a fun climb for sure!!

***My outfit: Vintage (faux) fur coat and cardigan, thrift pants, Target brogues, and LV bag.
